As leaseholder for the Longshed, Woodbridge Riverside Trust is responsible for running this wonderful community asset – including meeting all of its running costs (insurance, water and electricity, rates, site charges and administration). These are costs that have to be met in order that planned projects – boat building including skiffs and the Anglo-Saxon shipbuild, exhibitions, and other events – can go ahead. Many small monthly donations help meet these costs. You can help by joining the Friends of the Longshed regular donors scheme. The Friends can also take part in regular meetings and help plan activities and events.
The scheme offers three different monthly contribution options with different benefits:
£2 a month
we will invite you to regular meetings and the annual Longshed anniversary celebration
£5 a month
you can also have your name displayed on the Friends Board in the Longshed
£20 a month
you can have all of the above plus exclusive free use of the John Gibbins Gallery on up to two half days a year for your own events – by arrangement
To join the scheme you need to:
- Fill in and submit the Friends of the Longshed registration form which will tell us which level of contributions you want to make. The form includes an option to add Gift Aid to your donation.
